Writing Task 5: Reporting Trends

You work for a major European snack food producer, and the head of your department is very interested in making a proposal to top management about the possibility of entering the very lucrative U.S. peanut butter market. Before doing so, she has asked you to pull up some rough sales figures and summarize them for her. You found the bar chart below, listing the gross annual sales in billions of U.S. dollars for both crunchy and creamy peanut butter from 2019-2022. Using the helpful hints from Lesson 10, briefly summarize the sales trends below and, if possible, feel free to offer any insights or recommendations that you might have about entering the U.S. peanut butter market in the future.
