Subject: Cost-cutting Measures
As requested during the Board Meeting of February 25th, I have prepared my report, the summary of which you can find below. For more detailed information, you are welcome to access the full report in the attached pdf.

As in Table 1.1 of the attached pdf, demand for our vegan burgers has been falling dramatically for the last year, and both sales and profits are down. This has in which cost-cutting measures are necessary.
There are three main areas where cost reductions are possible.
• Marketing Budget
As mentioned , sales are suffering, but we are still spending unjustifiably large sums on banner ads and billboards.
• Production Costs
Table 2 of the report raw material costs have risen significantly in recent months. We must find a way to combat this.
We may, unfortunately, have to make the very unpopular decision of dismissing several administrative staff. of the full report for suggestions on how to proceed with our current administrative overstaffing.
In conclusion, most departments should be able to cut costs significantly by the end of this year. My specific recommendations are :
1. Marketing Department: in the advertising budget of 20%
2. Production Department: of using different suppliers to reduce material costs.
3. Head Office: for cutting a limited number of jobs if the situation continues to deteriorate.
